first entry and great news

my first entry to the Wirral Farmers’ Market blog I can bring such exciting news.
Our market is now in its sixth year and it is completely run by volunteers who all have full time jobs and give up their spare time to make it a success.
Sometimes there are highs and sometimes there are lows, but hopefully over time I can fill you in and let you know what is going on. But first the great news!!!
Wirral Farmers’ Market has been shortlisted for a national award.
The market is one of only three in the country to reach the finals of the prestigious BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards.
This year's award winners will be featured on Radio 4's The Food Programme and Farming Today, and also on BBC Local Radio.
The category of the best UK Farmers’ Market is included for the first time this year to mark the fact that is 10 years since the first farmers’ market took place in the UK.

Also we have a great new logo, thanks to www.wirralphoto.com and a website where we can list and link to all the producers and, of course, to the blog and back. I'll upload the logo when i work out how!
